Arrived at the quaint little airport that is Chiang Mai... very overcast and misty lots of mountains in the distance. As I waiting outside the airport for a taxi i noticed a thai policeman taking a photo of the roof of the building (which wasn't very high!) when i looked closely there was a snake wrapped around a rafter, not very big but a snake all the same!
Its Thai new year here and the norm seems to be to throw buckets of water over each other - on the way into town it was hilarious, 3 people on a moped getting blasted by a water canon but managing to stay upright and laugh through it all!
I am so tired but want to stay awake so I don't end up pacing around in the middle of the night...
